Source -Windows 7 has officially been out for 3 months to the public, while all of us here at Windows 7 News have had a bit longer than that to play around with Microsoft’s latest OS through the various Beta builds and RC’s, I’m sure many of you took advantage of the chance to try out the new OS for free as well. Many of you may still be running the RC1 version of Windows 7 right now.
Windows 7 has been praised for its speed, performance, and light footprint, its ability to bring older machines back to life and just be simple and easy to use in general. But what I really want to know is what you guys really think about Windows 7, at the end of the day it’s you and me, the general consumer who use Windows 7 the most and live with every day of our lives.

Not sure what its called but i like how all your open programs are organised on the task bar. The show desktop button on the bottom right corner is handy (when i remember to use it).
I've grown to appreciate the Library feature after initial skepticism. I also like silly little things, like the rotating wallpaper. I absolutely adore Aero Peek and Snap, but I always forget about Shake. And the Snipping Tool is just great.
I know some of these things originated in Vista, but they are all new to me.:)
I like the fact that Microsoft has remade itself and in the process.... finally produced a viable, relevant OS again...its been far too long.
Well, it has rejuvinated an interest in my computer again. Instead of SSDD on XP.
i have a oppor. to use each op/sys by microsoft. all the op/sys were good .
as time went microsoft made an amazing effort to make more easy to use and provided more user friendly option. win7 is the example.
i don't think microsoft is going to sit-back and relax.
they will come out with more powerful op/sys in future.
Windows 7 made it worth my while to switch from XP.
It's taken a little getting used to. I never bothered with vista any longer than necessary to download xp drivers and save to flash drive before erasing the HDD and installing xp... So after almost 8 years of using xp, 7 is a huge improvement. Now if we could get some 64Bit games to go with it...
