I thought the circle dock would stay up all the time. Reading its webpage, you have to click to activate it. This just adds another click to launching programs. And it's still in alpha. Maybe in a few months I'll check it out again.

Thank you though for the link, RST101.

You can modify the settings to keep it visible all the time.

One problem though is it doesn't install (which is not a huge problem), but since it doesn't install, the dll's and such don't get registered...so if you drop it into the startup folder, it crashes.

    What's all this bull**** again?!

I mean, during Windows Vista's beta cycle it was exactly the same: concept art pics showing up with awesome and totally new ideas...

But at the end NONE of these major UI revisions were implemented:
    - XP to Vista: nicer taskbar yeay <=> nothing that seems like this stuff
    - Vista to 7: again, nicer taskbar yeay <=> taskbar didn't just receive a small update but still nothing major of the concept arts has been implemented...

So what's the purpose of this pics?! Every experienced photoshopper can come up with such ideas... Or am I wrong and has this things you see here actually been implemented in an internal build?
