    That is the watermark they were putting on the first/older builds of Windows 7, they're real.

    Hello and thanks ! but what I mean is if this is a real new rc-branch build, should it be not the "evaluation copy" instead of "for testing purposes"?

    The actual text on the watermark may be related to the "source" of the build. Those for internal use being marked differently from those shipped to official OEM testers.

    Is it the time difference or is just us Brits fretting over whether build 7070 exists or not.
    Mind you I might have a go.
    I'm on 7057 and loving it. I'm using it all the time and only going into Vista for Photoshop.
    I've done five fresh installs in as many weeks and it's getting a bit tiresome but on the other hand I nearly didn't bother with 7057 and look what I would have missed.
    Well. Bring it on I suppose.
    Very clever marketing really. I'll be begging for it.
