Since there have been so many new builds of windows 7 I am keeping my puter for now to the minimum in installing software etc .
Will be nice to see the RC .

I doubt Microsoft are going to release anything on a holiday. Anyway, all pointers indicate a May RC release.
The minute I see it on Technet I'll alert the media, I promise.

This imyfirst experience in testing a major operating system. I am jus so confusd about the leaks (I am running 7077), are they legal, are they legitimate...etc etc.
They keep saying that 7106, supposedly RC1, is about to be released. How can this be,given that the RC is not officially due till May.
I have decided not to do anymore updates and sit on 7077 till May. I don;t want some Chinese version or some pirated version that has some kind of bomb built in.
All of this IMHO.

Im certainly not bothering with this chinese version. I dont see what all the fuss is about personally.
Im not sure as to the legallity of these leaks but I doubt MS would take any action over someone using them.

You are right about that! I don't think that MS would attempt to put millions of beta testers behind bars. They would loose potential revenue!

I'm also letting this chinese version pass by. in fact, I think I might as well definitely stick with 7077 until RC is really out . I don't have as much bandwidth as to be wasted. besides, 7077 is working rock solid for me.

I agree - it is the best for my system. On build 7057, I had compatibilty issues with MS office (weird!) and Itunes. 7077 fixed these plus only one time have I had to do hard restart. No BSOD's.

I can't wait for RC. I'm currently using 7000 and want to see what lies ahead...though I hear they are taking some things out that I like...
