    In Windows 7, we're introducing a brand new Windows Taskbar. I touched upon this briefly in my notes from the PDC Keynote a few weeks ago. However last Thursday, the Windows Engineering Team over on the Engineering Windows 7 Blog published a much more in-depth look at the new Windows Taskbar in Windows 7. They take a close look several new features within the new Taskbar including Jump Lists, Pinning, Interactive Grouped Thumbnails, Aero Peek, and Color Hot Track. The overall goal behind the new Windows Taskbar is to allow people to be able to manage their application windows much easier as well as give them quick access to the information they need.

my windows recently malfunction ... couple of nights ago it fell .. and then my wd portable stopped working, keeps asking for password and also when enter password nothing happens, although i noticed something strange .... the portable hdd makes a clock like sound ... which is weird and most weird...
How can I give the border for windows 7's taskbar to windows 8's taskbar? Image (to clarify the question): http://i43.tinypic.com/5ajlmx.png Tip: To see the selected areas (with red rectangles in the image), you have to download and open the image then zoom.
I've searched everywhere for the answer to this!! I can't believe this isn't bothering anone else? I love the translucent look of windows, but when I have a window in full screen mode, I want the taskbar to be solid!! this was standard in vista! A translucent taskbar and frame makes it look...
