Have you tried running the WEI to see if you can enable it afterward?

Windows Experience Index, this is one from Vista but you get the drift.

With a base score of 4.2 then Aero should be enabled. If you try right-clicking the desktop & select personalise, try selecting a theme e.g. Windows 7 theme. This should then enable all Aero effects.

If not, when you right-click 'Computer' from the start menu & select properties then select 'Advanced System settings' you can adjust the visual Performance. It might be that something has lowered these settings.

Should I change my 7068 with 7077, I had few minor problems. My PowerPoint sometimes works very slow, and the explorer sometimes falls without any reason. Does anybody have this problems and are they fixed in 7077.

I've been using 7077 without any problems.

Upgraded to build 7077 4 days ago & all is good!

I read the posts on build 7077 with some saying it was the most stable they've ran with better performance while others said it was by far the worst build they had used & was slower than build 7057.

Well me being who I am I never take someone's word for this as it could be a bad installation & or upgrade, driver conflicts, etc that the person has & did my own assessments of this new build with some testing.

So I went ahead & did the upgrade to see for myself & I think it's a good build.
A aside from a few bugs here & there that I run into every now & then its a very good operating system with better gaming performance
than build 7057 & my 3Dmark Vantage score went up with this build!
(This is the case on my System anyways)

Just installed 7077 (64Bit) from 7068, already noticed 3 changes, and that's without installing anything yet. WMP12, the pause button issue - fixed. the sound, when playing music it now shows green scopes (didn't before), and i dunno if anyone else had this issue, but trying to open a new folder or make a change in a folder, required an extra refresh, this has been fixed as well. :)
