Windows 7 Professional SP1 - x64 [Non-UEFI Boot]

Can someone tell if when installed on a x64 the XP Mode/Virtual PC, do the XP Professional installed is a 32bits or x64bits?? It is not shown in System Panel....

In that case if i do install Microsoft Security Essential, do I have to install the XP x32bits or Win7 x64 or even the Win7 x32bits.

Thanks!

Yes i understand that, but some XP Pro are some x64 and x32 bits, no?

The only thing i know is that display is set to be 16bits and no other change possible.

Thats referring to the host OS not the guest os. Guest os is always 32-bit.

So you need to download the Professional 64-bit files. But the XP inside it will be 32-bit.

The probs is that there's no MSE XP x64bits, only the XP x32bits....

After it is for Vista/Win7 x32 and x64....

Do not know which one choosing....

I hope this is not a stupid question, but I asked earlier on this thread whether XP Mode would be available under Home Premium, and i always suspected not, so why is Home Premium available under 'select your OS'. Does anybody know whether this new xp mode update means it IS now working under Home Premium? Thanks as always.
Do you have a Windows XP CD? Or an ISO of Windows XP? If you do then you can create your own XP Mode. The ability to do so is available on all additions of Windows 7, you just need your own images. Also XP Mode can be Vista Mode or 7 Mode the feature is part of the Virtual Tools pack.

Thanks logic for the reply, really kind. Yes, I do have an XP Professional disc from my previous laptop. Not wanting to be a pain but is there is a link on how to go about this? Otherwise, I shall Google Thanks again.
