It's a while since I've seen, and heard, such bad language on this forum.
lowly poppycocks
Poppycock means nonsense, so we now have lowly nonsense. Talking about Ubuntu and Mac OS X again????...he he.
(That's sure to start an argument).

I hope there are volunteers that summarize each 100 posts for us.
In short,
Windows 7 RC will be released to the general public on May 5th. Technet mad a mistake posting a link too early. There was a leak on small nova but it turned out to be fake.
We are all waiting in anticipation for the RC, and possibly an early leak but no-one knows for certain.
Whew....That was hard work
I'd certainly rather see the MS approved public release over any questionable leaks for some obvious reasons. For one coming direct from MS means it has been fully tested and ready for the public while some leak maybe something else entirely.
You would be better off signing up at Technet there and waiting the extra few days rather chancing any ??? alterations? since that will see support available. Leaks are for those who can easily wipe a drive and clean a system if any bugs are discovered.
Already I had someone warn about pulling a drive out of one system to run scans on it plugged into another to find stuff hidden. Apparently that was on one build where everything looked genuine until...
Just thought I would pass a word of caution along here. Once we know something is ok then someone can point you at one. Besides don't you want the "real deal"?!
Agreed. Also, there's no way to guarantee if the 'leaked' version has been tampered with in any way. You may be able to install a 'leaked' RC & get support but the overall outcome will not be the same that Joe Public will recieve
