SourceLast night the UK Government rammed through the controversial Digital Economy Bill after its third reading and just two hours debate. This means that it will later become law, everyone will stop sharing files online and the music and movie industries will net billions in the years to come. Better still, it has the full support of the people.
That was a great article, well written.
As for the bill, well.... I have nothing nice to say about it...

am i the only person who sees this new law being a "creeper"? today its "proven illegal file sharers" next it will be "suspected illegal filesharers" and then it will be "anyone we suspect might be breaking the law for whatever reason we feel like"
