Windows 8 Faster, Smaller, and More Responsive than Win
-
I don't even want to think about Windows 8 at this point. Windows 7 hit the sweet spot.
Ditto. Besides that, Windows 7 hasn't even been out that long. Why would Microsoft be so concerned about releasing a newer OS? That's just stupid if you ask me. Why not concentrate on making the minor adjustments to Seven first?
If anything,
I would like to see a service pack for Seven released before a whole new OS is. Just like XP, they should run Seven into the ground before they go the new OS route. Talking about Windows 8 already, kinda' ticks me off to be honest with you. If Microsoft has/had new ideas, then why not slap it into Seven? WTF are they thinking?

They're working on it.
Windows 7 SP1 beta leaked!

Of course MS is working on Windows 8 or whatever they will call the next OS. Just as the auto manufactures are designing and engineering cars five years down the road. Forward thinking and planning are how a business survives.

Windows 8 already? I'm too happy with Windows 7 to consider the possibilities of Windows 8. :)

I want to see full blown table top integration like the concept Windows Table Top that I have seen around.
That would be awesome. Or the Wall Version that is used with a projector that allows you to throw items around, from one screen to another or to smart phone and back..
Soon, we will have the Mind reading Computers that all you have to do is think it and it happens.
No, I am not joking, or being sarcastic. R&D is actually happening and working.

Windows 8....bring it on.
Heck I'm all giddy about CS5/Photoshop being unveiled tomorrow!

Windows 7 official release date was October 22nd of last year. So it hasn't even been released 6 months yet. Wow, how outdated can you get?

Well in my defense, I've had Windows 7 since January, when the first public beta was launched. :)

+1
That's the way it works.
The beta should be out in a year and a half, and the release less than a year later.
I'll be testing it as soon as it shows up
If your happy with any OS you have, then enjoy it, no one can force you to buy a new one.
Some people want to see what's new and how they can break it
