You have to uninstall the beta.

Unfortunately, mine did not seem to uninstall, so now I am messing around with that. We will see what happens...

Yeah, I was worried about that. Office seems to have a nasty habit of not wanting to let go. I've got an hour left, so we'll see what happens.

Anyone got any idea how to remove the 2010 beta and let it install the RTM? I need to do some work in it, and I can't if it acts like this....

Have you tried this program yet? RipOutOffice2007

It says it's for 2007, but I had it work on one of the earlier 2010 Mondo builds...

I also had to uninstall the beta version before installing the RTM (had to do this with the 2007 version as well). I went to control panel and click on uninstall a program and click on office 2010 beta and uninstall from there. Restart PC. Went to CCleaner and did a registry sweep and clean. Restart again. Installed RTM with no problems at all. BTW My OS is Windows 7 Home Pre (64 Bit). Hope this helps.

I reinstalled office 2007 without fault. If it still wont let me install, I will try the above suggestions.
