Win.7.Ult.x64

I've just discovered something strange: 3 different people who got product keys at 3 different times, each logged into their own MS "live" accounts, got IDENTICAL product keys for both Win.7.x86 and Win.7.x64 -- how strange is that ???

I'll check back tomorrow after someone has downloaded & compared the hashes as this is all pointless until then.

I for one hope they are the same so I don't have to reinstall.
But if need be, so be it.

Now off to do some gaming which this OS is very good at!!!
Until then...later all!

Yes, both sites are extremely overloaded. Don't worry you will have ample opportunity later today, tomorrow, the next day, etc... If you have the original leaked ISO by Einsteinjr, then you have exactly the same ISO already. I'm sorry that the folks who were wishing it would be a different image come today have to now admit we were correct about the leak.

BTW, the partner web page leaked a week ago is now live.

Windows XP now almost "Hidden" on Technet
Hi there XP is definitely approaching it's death throes. On TechNet if you just search Operating systems or even Windows you won't find any XP versions for download -- however by actually searching for "Windows XP" explicitly you can get access to XP pro sp3 if you still need it - I'm running...

MSDN copy of Build 7600 "not genuine"
I have a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium N, which I downloaded from the Microsoft MSDN page. I use it for testing in VMware. Well, the networking was screwed up, so I went into VMware settings and changed it from NAT to Bridged. I then ran Windows update. When it was done updating I got a message in...
