Sorry if this is slightly off topic, but I've been lurking on here for a few weeks. Just wanted to say what a fantastic forum this is. Can you tell me what the gadgets on the sidebar are in your screenshot and where you got them from?

    Cheers,

The other one which I use is the Everest sidebar. Didn't have it up yet since I just installed and it was 5:00AM when I took the screen shot.

I've contacted the folks in the IT department where I used to work and among us, a total of 9 people, we have found the same 5 product keys used over and over again for Win.7.x86 and for Win.7.x64 (5 each).

That's 9 different people, each of whom got at least 2 keys for each version of Win.7 beta, who appear to have been given product keys at different times and with different levels of connection to MS's various programs -- all from the same pool of 5 for each version -- and we didn't share.

Are there only 5 product keys for each?

Nice muffin, and you just downloaded and installed that today.
Nope, I got it on the 24th!

But as everyone knows now, the hash checksums match up with the "Official" MS RC release so it's exactly the same. :)

Dont suppose its something silly like you company are signed up to a Volume license / Select Agreement so their keys are tied to that?

No, because I'm no longer covered in that agreement and got mine independently. Two friends near where I live have no connection at all with any of my four former co-workers (they're in a totally different city 250 miles away), and two more are affiliated with a major university.

Plus, I've just logged into my MS live account in an attempt to get more (I got 2 each, originally). What I found: the SAME 5 product codes. This is very strange.

=> login => get code => hit 'refresh' for next code => repeat, ad nauseum => 5 codes.
