Good question.
Wasn't the beta during the day time?
That sounds like midnight to me.On Tuesday, May 5 (PST), the RC will be available to everyone
The Customer Preview will come to life in less then 24hr.s now! The download links seen greyed out at Technet will also suddenly do the same there once the public availability is authorized by MS at a certain time. Just what minute of which hour Redding time still has to been seen there.
That will likely be late afternoon as it was seen with the beta release. The one smart move MS did this time around however was greatly increase the amount of time the RCs will be available for those who missed their chance back on 2/12! You won't see many rushing at torrent sites when the "clean, bug free" copies of 7 are readily available for an almost 2 month period over the beta's 2 week stretch!
Get ready for them MS servers to crash again........lol
yep less than 24 hours....
it will be in the evening for sure (in my time PST...:))
I'll have two downloads started with the downloaders already installed while simply sitting back and watching all the hussle! With the recent ISP upgrade both will keep a steady pace even if slow while the betas kept getting bumped and restarted with that old dsl nonsense!
Meanwhile since the 7100 x86 leak hasn't seen a few things like the 7077 x64 does instead the partitioning theme will be changed again seeing the 64bit RC on the primary host instead of the 32bit now that XP is gone and Vista got pushed back a bit! Can't record on the x86?
Now to look over the x64 7100 to see if it will work there! If not? I don't want to have to go back to XP all over again!
for anybody still watching this thread take a look over here...
Official Windows 7 RC Available Right Now!

the new 'rc' release is the same as the 'leaked' version. both build 7100.
