Anyone notice ANY difference between this "official" RC1 (build 7100) and the "leaked to torrents" release of the same build. If not I have no reason to commit my bandwidth or even the few cents to burn yet another DVD. If there going to be an "official" release of Windows 2008 Server R2? I'm running the leaked version at the moment. Took awhile to find the direct ISO download site - sorry - forgot it now. Some of these torrent sites are a ripoff as far as I can see charging fees, which could be like variable rate mortages!

If the hash for your build 7100 matches the hash posted by MS then the file is identical.

If the hashes and CRC match, they are the same absolutely. :)

.dlm sounds like an extension the download manager puts on there untill the file is complete, i would check to see if it is.

Hmmm I used Firefox to download the 64 bit this morning. Only took couple hours.
Since I just read this post about how the download is failing all I can say is I just started another download instance of the 32 bit to see if it works. Like I said I'm using Firefox. I.E. 8 seems to time out for me. The Download Manager that tries to run fails on I.E. but works fine on Firefox.

This extension belongs to the download manager, and it indicates an incomplete download or a download that is in progress. When the download has completed successfully, this extension will disappear and you will be left with the standard .iso file, which you will need to burn to a DVD.
