Thanks SF Team for notifying, I have successfully downloaded.
Dr. Who, a hash is a somehat code result from the codification mde with some data. The hashes changes between data even if comparing data they are almost identical, but with slight changes.
In our case, people here post hashes derived from different ISOs of different builds of Windows 7, so we can compare and know if we've and legit Windows 7 build or just a fake with probsbly some malwares.
If you want to know the hash of your files, just download HashTab for free. It work on Windows 5, 6 and 7. I used that program to determine my files' hashes.
Hope it help. :)
Downloading now (64 bit) Australia waited till about 12am US Pacific (5pm local) as thought it would be not available any earlier untill I saw here it was but what's the rush lol. Did start about 8:30pm local time @ 150 KB/S with 1h58m to go. Now 12:51am but will stay up to install if I find a Blank DVD as it is to far to find an open shop with blank dvd's. Or if it installs off my usb thumbdrive I will do it that way

Torrents? Sounds like flood waters to me.
I have a good friend who downloads all my programs (OS's) for me.
How he does it.....I don't even ask.
Torrents? Hashes? I try not to get involved in all that.
But just like Vista, Win-7 needs extensive tweaking and tuning to run decently without driving me nuts. Fortunately, 7 accepts all the tweaks I've used for several years on Vista.
"Take Ownership" is the only one I've added recently. I thank the great guys on this forum for that one. Maybe I can keep what little hair I have left, after Vista.
Yes I have a 4Gb thumb/pen memory stick (so many names) and yes advice on how to auto run at boot as sometimes it wont boot from a usb pen drive.
Or I do the slower way with the DVD I found. But faster is better after waiting for slow internet to finish. I can get ADSL2+ here but its not so cheap here.
