NOt that Im against causes for good, but why on earth would you do that? I am assuming youve played with some of the Windows 7 builds and know that it could very well be released some time next year. Why would you spend ANY money on Vista or any other OS.
I guess I am assuming you not only tried Win 7, but liked what youve seen so far. I dont know how anyone couldnt like it. At least if you had the choice between Vista or 7, how could anyone in the world take Vista over 7?

$$$ Not everyone can afford to pay top dollar for a new OS after upgrading components etc. I'm sure if the Vista / 7 price was the same, Ted would go for 7.

    ******

If MS were actually serious about helping, they would release a cheaper red version of 7 at launch and not some p*ss weak attempt at making more money under an 'altruistic' guise.

To be fair though, they could just slash the prices without the red version. Still going to pass

My new Windows 7 build will be finished before 7 is; and I won't have an OS for it. Besides I just want a full retail copy of both Vista Ultimate and Windows 7 Ultimate.

And that's the way it is....
