Free apps install spyware on Macs | InSecurity Complex - CNET News
Mac users downloading free screensavers and a video converter app from several popular download sites also got spyware that installs a back door, collects data, and sends encrypted information to remote servers, security company Intego said on Tuesday.
Ok, time to dump google search for security reasons. Bing works perfectly fine for me anyway. Google is starting to sound like apple these days. Acting so cool with nothing to make them cool in the first place. It's a search engine...big deal!
And... did you see the worst? they think they still don't need and AV Software because they say the only SO that gets loads of malware is Windows... What a pitty... how many malware they might have right now and they don't know it!!!!!!!
Poor guys!!!! I hope the awake soon...
See ya!!
Yes, Bing is good. I liked it enough that it is my homepage and my default search provider. Yet, I still end up clicking that little arrow right of the magnifying glass in my browser search box and then hit......... "Google" I have to admit that some searches are just better searched with Google.
Google already admitted they were running Windows XP on their systems still. XP is almost ten years old. o_o'
It's prety clear that Google wants to replace Windows. Not just internally but world-wide. So internally they probably loath giving money to Microsoft. It's the only angle that the descision makes any sense.
The upshot will probably be that their Windows software goes down the crapper like most of Apple's Windows software. When your developing for a platform that by company policy you are required to deride at every turn, the results will not be good.
