Geez, what a scary thing to even talk about. Big brother to the max. I'm not from Australia but I fear for them and other countries as well if something like this is implemented. I can't wait to get a hold of my buddy from over there to see him rage over this. It'll prob all come down to cost though, all of the storage for mostly useless information and then the issue of keeping it all secure.
That will cost a fortune .. who is paying for that and where is the civil liberty and Human rights ??..I am in England and believe it or not sometimes when I am online I feel that someone is there with me recording everything ..I am not paranoid..but no one will know if they already doing it or not ..LOL... what we gonna do about it .. nothing is the word .. Governements get away with everything... I am thinking of cutting the middleman and post all my web browsing details direct to them , advertize my bank and personal details on google and even put a webcam in my toilet so they can find out what colour is my pant and which toilet paper I am using !!!!!!
If this does come to pass, how long do you think it will be before hackers start setting up private ISPs? The whole idea of right to privacy seems to be going out the window.
I'd be willing to bet money that, when the uproar starts, the governments will use something along the lines of "It's to protect us against terrorism."
I thought it was 2010...did we somehow slip into 1984?
All my stuff goes through a VPN anyway.... but if they bring this law into the country where it is hosted (Germany) then I imagine they will have to record what I do
It has already started... They have been doing that here for a while now... Likely soon to be worldwide...
