How to install only what you want:

On the download page there is a link it says Choose the programs you want, a drop down lost will appear and you have to chose your language.

After you download run and you can chose which programmes you want to install

You can choose the programs you want. It says it in the top right corner. "Choose the programs you want".

    Yes, I found it.

If you select "Download now" it downloads wlsetup-webd.exe which installs the complete package.

If you select "Choice the programs you want" it downloads "wlsetup-webc.exe" and it will give you the choices and also will update the ones you have install already.

I don't use Messenger so wouldn't want that, I just have Movie Maker, Photo Gallery and Windows Live Mail.

I'll probably wait until it's final as the only one I use on a regular basis is Live Mail and that's working OK so there's no rush to update it.:)

I like it but there seems to be something funny going on...when ever I open live mail messenger also starts and it adds extra taskbar icons to the end instead of where it is original pinned and i end up with multiple messenger icons in the tray. Wierd.

I installed the full thing cause I didn't see how to choose only the programs I wanted. Whoops.

Windows Live Mail is fabulous ... will have more time later to play around.

okay Live Sinc is cool. It Syncs your files to Skydrive if you have a hotmail account. Can you say 25 gigs of free online back up? That is pretty cool.
