More...Mozilla and Google Working Together, But Not Really, on the Future of Web Apps

When Google announced that it was ready to merge Adobe Flash Player into its Chrome browser, by way of a browser plug-in model called NPAPI Pepper, the company indicated that it was working with both Adobe and Mozilla to help flush out the details of this next-generation framework.
But that's not quite the case.
While Mozilla is, "definitely on board with the idea of revamping and improving plugin APIs," says Mozilla chief technology officer Brendan Eich in an interview with The Register, it would be incorrect to say that Google and Mozilla are partnering up for Pepper per se.
