Absolutely true. There are lots of updates for Linux boxes...I can attest to that. Of course, some are security related, while others are simply additions, fixes, documentation updates, new versions, it sometimes muddies the water when you evaluate them based on a sheer # perspective.
Yeah, the latest version of Linux Mint 9 is based upon Ubuntu 10.04. Yet a fresh install still needs 219 updates. It was released May 18.

Awhile back when I needed to update my Win7 x64 to SP1 someone on here pointed me to the relevant MS web page for the downloads. A friend needs the download page for his 32 bit Ultimate download, can anyone point me to this please? He has a legal registration key. Many thanks.

Malware Attacked on Windows 7 and WDO Also not working on Boot
Recenlty, Some Malware has attacked on my Laptop. I tried using windows defender offline through USB to work on Boot. But I get wondows Boot Manager page opened which stats that not able to Boot due to some error in wondows... I can though start the windows and open explrer.. but I get error...
