Right click context menu scanning is there for mine, shows in the taskbar too.
Clean install, no upgrade, maybe your installations didn't go right.

Thanks, I am downloading via FTM now. Took me a while to realize that it did not work in the 64-bit IE. I'm using the 32-bit IE now.
It definitely looks like the issue might be with upgrading instead of uninstalling the old version before installing the new one.
Just an update on the context menu issue. The solution I listed before seems to be permanent. I was afraid it was something that would have to be done after every restart. The solution is still working after restarting my computer. Just to state it again, Open an elevated command prompt. Run the following command: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\shellext.dll"
If that was screwed up from upgrading, who knows what else that you don't notice is. Probably best just to do a clean install of it, especially coming from a stable 1.0 - version to a beta 2.0 - upgrade version instead of doing some specific fix for the one problem.
It is uncommon to be able to upgrade beta software without issue. It is almost always best to uninstall the old and install the new.
MS recommends this on most of their beta software. I'd be surprised if this was not on their site.
Edit: After reading about it, seems MS recommends doing the upgrade. Many people outside of this forum are having upgrade issues. Best to uninstall first!
