I really need to do some wire management,at the minute its a bit messy.
I may have to cut some holes in the skeleton aswell as the DF-30 isn't the best for cable management, but thats just becasue i'm fussy, otherwise I love it.

    Oh and I get 7.6 on WEI for my ram,its 4GB of 1333MHz G.Skill Ripjaw :)

Toss a GTX 570 and a vertex2 SSD in your system and then the processor will be your bottle neck. Are you planning on upgrading in the near future
    Yeah, like this.....

Have the 570 and an Intel 510 SSD and Kipper is right that the processor and maybe the SSD is the bottleneck.

Wow, thanks for the thorough explanation. Luckily I have version 1.1 so I can follow your suggestions. I need to do my wire management as soon as possible, I can't wait to see how much cleaner my case would be after I follow your tips.
No problem! The case was not easy to work with, but neat wire management can always be done!

This is my first build and I built my new rig a couple weeks ago, It is a sandybridge based rig and it is running great. The only major hiccup was a DOA Evga 570 HD Video card but the retailer replaced it with the Asus card.

Time for some pictures as I dug out my 4 year old web cam and used my Cyberlink You Cam software to take the pics.

I boxed up my system this morning and shipped it from California to New Jersey. Was chatting with my good friend there and he made me an offer on my system without the 580 cards as long as I put two 465s in it that I could not pass up. After packing the interior of the case with new towells to protect the components then bubble wrapping the case and boxing it and then a second box with foam penuts around the first box I was not suprised that UPS got me for 125.00 bucks for regular ground shipping.

I tossed a new system together today on my test bench and so far so go. I have the new Corsair 650D chassis coming tomorrow so when I get everything into the case I will be back with some pictures and my updated system specs. I am already missing that 980X chip but so far the new i7 2600K aint that bad sitting on the ASRock Fatal1ty P67 board.

Considering what you shipped and packed that ain't a bad price. Hope it get's there safe and in one piece.

Yeah that 2600K is nice, but I think I would have stuck with my 980X, that's me though. Good luck on the new build and can't wait to see the pics.

    Later.

Yea, I will probably hate myself in the morning as they say. But I also need some cash to help pay for cataract surgery next week.

Thanks for the compliments on the new rig everyone, It would not have happened without this thread and in particular the depth of all the rest of the forums of Seven forums itself. Searching the forums pointed me to the latest hardware and also taught me about the hardware I chose for my build.
