    I just ordered my new ssd- ocz vertex 3 128g,6g/s and got some 4gx3 corsair 2000mhz XMS3 ram

    Now just waiting for samsungs new 750 series led/3d to hit the shelves then I am set!

    Thanx, I just can't seem to set the ram to 2000mhz, when in bios it only gives 1333,1600,18 something then higher than 2000,know any suggestions?

    Alsisgevat,
    This is where you will have to likely overclock your ram to get it to the 2000mhz point. I'm far from the expert on OC'g ram so as with any OC'g please read up and test for a stable overclock and watch for heat issues as you may need to place a ram cooler over the sticks.

    To get 2000MHz, you will need to play with the multiplier, and the BCLK. I found this thread which may help:

    You'll need to delve into the world of overclocking.
    It's an interesting experience and you will learn a lot about the BIOS settings.

    I'm testing this out for a couple of days..



    I put another 22" display under the glass surface of my desk.. On it I have Google Voice, Gmail, IRC and Pandora running 24/7. For the past hour that I have been using it.. It's EPIC!

    I'm going to try it for the next couple of days, its pretty sweet so far though!
