Noice! And I thought my 5Tb's were getting excessive!

There is always a need to crank open a case!

I've always said you can never have too much hard drive space..... But..... Wow.

    Thanks guys.
I had 14 drives hooked up when I grabbed that snapshot, 5 WD My Books (6TB worth) and 9 internal drives.
I currently have 4 My Books (4TB worth) and 7 internal drives (10TB). I removed 3 smaller drives and installed another 2TB drive, just copied the 3 smaller drives to the new one and to another drive in the machine.
I've got almost 3TB of free storage space now. When I would get low, I'd add another drive but I have a 9 drive limit in the old case due to space.
I have plenty of space in the HAF-932 but I still have the SATA port limit, 9 ports, so 8 drives and 1 Optical drive and I have no desire to use IDE again.
Currently, the 400GB Seagate is the smallest drive, so that is the next one to be upgraded, if I decide to add another drive.
I should start deleting stuff since a lot of is stuff I won't watch again, but I just hate deleting stuff. I am a Digital Packrat.

Holy cow, I guess so. I've got less than 1TB of actual data across all of my boxes that is of any value.

Dele...? Wait.. No.. What? You didn't just say that. Did you?

I'm getting a bit tired of writing movies / series / anime back to DVD to save space on my PC, I hate deleting stuff. Partly because I enjoy the responses I get when I go to a LAN with some friends and they see my media collection (yours would put mine to shame and mine puts my friends' to shame), but mostly because I just hate deleting stuff.

Seeing your rig makes me extremely jealous though; for ages now I've had this idea to increase my storage space, I want to stick about a 100GB SSD (100, 120, 128, somewhere round there) as my main drive, two 500GB SATA drives in RAID0 for my games drive, then three 2TB drives in RAID5 (leaves space to add more drives later if I need).

So far.... I've got the two 500GB. So my total space (calculated correctly, i.e.: '500GB' is actually 465GB) is 1.5TB space, 1.7TB if I include my 250GB external. I've still got a long way to go to reach my personal 5TB goal...

    FilthyDiesel and Max51,
I commend you both for bang'n tight systems.
FD way to go turning off the flash. You either have the steadiest hand known to man or a tripod? And that case is very unique and filled with top shelf components. obtw love the skull !
M51 as well way to go I'm a big fan of the blue led. The water cooling looks amazing and as a AMD guy you've got my vote. Great pic's of crazy nice rig's kudo's to you both......great job!

the only thing that bothers me are the green LED's on motherboard because they **** up my black & blue theme I'll put some blue neon lights in to outshine them. And i'll also spray inside of case to matt black

Well..... You could always get a soldering iron, a few ice-blue LEDs and... Uh.. Void your warranty (if you haven't already). But then again a mod like that has a very high risk of going wrong very quickly, so maybe not.

I just finished upgrading my machine a couple weeks ago. These are the only pics I have at the moment but they get the point across.
