Makes perfect sense. :) Same here to be honest, I love explaining things to others. But in contrast to your experiences with stock coolers, this Intel seems to be holding up very well - I mean, I've never seen the CPU go over 40 C even when stress testing. Maybe I'm just lucky or something lol.

It's SLi on the one card as it's Dual GPU, and works as SLi. B-)

Your card does have duel gpu's but it would take another 7950 to make it SLI. That card does infact supports Quad Nvida SLI technology but that would take four 7950's http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_31673.html

Not necessarily - you're probably thinking about the 7950 GT, which is single GPU, and yes, for Quad SLI, four would be needed. The 7950 GX2 is a dual GPU card, with an SLI chip bridging the two PCB's together, and to achieve a Quad SLI setup with these cards, you only need 2 physical cards, which total up to 4 GPU's. The card works fine solo, allowing any SLI settings in Forceware and games, etc to be enabled and operate. :)

and now with thw water cooling its 68c on load

and that is really good on intel thay say max good tameps for 980x is 70c
and max good VCore is 1.375
and that is what i got now i OC to 4.5GHz and im in the safe zone so it is good for me
Must be your ambient temp then.... for watercooled, 68C seems high to me???

Apparently temps are not a "linear" thing.... I would expect a max of +/-45C on a watercooled system with +/- 20C ambient temp. So a diff 10C ambient but a diff of +/-23C CPU.... But maybe my expectations of watercooled are too high here...

Just ordered some new LED's and a side panel fan - looks like a neon-lit disco or something, inside the case now.

    Side Panel Fan:

Also bought some stickers to make it look that little bit more professional!

And here's the LED Strips - look's just a tiny bit blue, eh?

Sorry for the quality of these pics BTW - phone camera, as usual.
