    Hey guys.

I've changed my thermal paste tonight with Arctic Silver one... No difference. Really. Idle temps are like they were before : 39-44 across cores. I've put a good pea size on the middle of the CPU and put the stock fan back. Yeah...

Takes approximately 200 hours to "break in". Make sure to run through cycles, turn off, let cool, etc. Should go down a bit over time. A Guy

Too much, IMO. You really need more like a 4-5mm ball.

I'd say about 1/2 the size of a grain of long grain rice is enough if you spread it, which is what I do. A Guy

Not too many people spread it anymore. I'm actually a little surprised.
