That is one clean set up on that test bench. I can see now after several builds how nice a test bench would be to test the components and especially the water blocks before installation into a case. That aside the look of this bench is very nice with the acrylic plates and push buttons. Then moving into the SLI set up, mobo and Vengence ram all set up to produce some killer performance.....great job !
The bench is nice if you need to leave the rig setup where you can easily change out cards, coolers, memory etc....
When I am building a system for someone I just put the MB on the MB Box, hook up the PSU, mount the cpu, add the memory, attach the necessary data cables and fire it up, install the OS and burn it in. Once I am happy with the configuration then it is a simple task to mount everything in the case.
Ah, that would definitely explain it. By the way Kip, on your RoG profile, in your system spces it say 'i5 2600k' rather than 'i7 2600k'.
Got a ROG myself now... looked stable from the moment I unpacked it They make some nice stuff
