    thobel (master the possibilities),

I would say nice rig but that would be freakin stupid. With a system like that I hope you get out of the house at times. If I was wearing a hat I'd take it off and bow to the lord of the mhz !

    Gigabyte,
I like your set up but I'm not following the need for the electrical tape. I really doesn't detract from what looks to be a very quick machine without being stupid expensive. Good job.

I'm not following your reasoning here. I don't see the reason for the tape.

All the SATA cables were black, but when I was trying to dual boot snow leopard initially I was getting confused with which sata port to plug each drive into while troubleshooting so I grabbed some different colored ones and havent replaced them with black ones yet.

2 of the spinpoint f3 drives are for win 7 with one being a backup
the other spinpoint and the 7200.12 are OS, backup for snow leopard
backups, media, and images and program backups are stored on the other two drives.
I used wire ties and some standoff/spacers I made out of things around the house to attach the fans to the heatsink. With them a half inch from touching the heatsink the megahalems doesn't whine like it did before while using fan clips.
