I'll give you a hint, it isn't as powerful as it looks and the RAM's in a stupid place. (Above the processor).
However, I've listed the specs already.
WEI = 5.5 (RAM being the lowest).
Still, it has served me well for a very long time now.
It was my first ever build, and I started it when I was 13, so I should imagine you can spot mistakes from about 3 miles away, but oh well, most of the parts have been changed by now, but some haven't.
EDIT: The other downside is the fact the case has no USBs.
Well, it did, but that's another story...

All the SATA cables were black, but when I was trying to dual boot snow leopard initially I was getting confused with which sata port to plug each drive into while troubleshooting so I grabbed some different colored ones and havent replaced them with black ones yet.

2 of the spinpoint f3 drives are for win 7 with one being a backup
the other spinpoint and the 7200.12 are OS, backup for snow leopard
backups, media, and images and program backups are stored on the other two drives.
I used wire ties and some standoff/spacers I made out of things around the house to attach the fans to the heatsink. With them a half inch from touching the heatsink the megahalems doesn't whine like it did before while using fan clips.
Nice set-up, how's that running for you?

Way out of my budget range.

Haha thanks, I have actually gotten the ''low on memory error'' with this setup, believe it or not. Somehow repairing a 1tb disc using the sector by sector approach was using 11GB of memory.

Other than that , I use one VM and a 4gb ramdisk for nothing really... the RAM kits were a really good deal

I really miss my SSD, but I seriously doubt I'll ever use all the storage in this system... Next project is to index all the videos I've acquired over the last 10 years so I can use them for WMC.

Hey BFC... thanks for always commenting and helping everyone on this entire forum when they post questions...

this setup kills anything I've thrown at it, I suspect I couldn't have justified 1/4 of the purchases if they had not been on the clearance rack at microcenter. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have a microcenter closeby.

haha, this system was an upgrade from an old athloon 6400x2 system. I was running that system for my whole media center, gaming, home business, and fax server. This rig does a lot better...

I took the pics with my HTC EVO, it doesn't do that well with shiny objects, sorry...
