IntelĀ® Coreā„¢2 Duo Processor E6320 (4M Cache, 1.86 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB) with SPEC Code(s) SLA4U
It doesn't support it, but you don't need it.
A Ht enabled Dual core would not perform as well as a real quad core processor, just for an example
Thanks, I guess I should either get a i7 core or a brand new i7 cpu with one of the latest nvidia graphics cards but moneys thight at the moment and when I find a spear £800~1,100 I'll buy one. But as for now I realy wan't to make the most of my hardware and windows vista has far to much cpu usage.

Also from your first post, the motherboard does not support hyperthreading either. No mention of hyperthreading in specs for this motherboard.
ok, just be sure you don't go too fast, because then you won't be able to boot your system. make it close to the rated speed (within 20-30 MHz should be ok, but take it in baby steps)
Also, is your windows 7 disc a burnt disc, or is it the actual microsoft retail disc?
that may be the problem. you might have to have him re burn the disc at a lower speed. if you burn a system disc too fast, some files can be corrupted.
