    new case

I too, am looking for a new case to upgrade. My old one is a Ultra E-Torque mid tower ATX case. Nice and roomy but lacks ports in case for wire management. I have some specific options I'm looking for. They are as follows: mid/full tower, clear sided, 1 or 2 bays for 3.5" that are at the middle or bottom of front of case, ports for wire management, front panel jacks that are recessed and plug in parallel with case (not on top that plug straight down) and price around $100. I've been searching for weeks now and cant seem to find a case that has all the features I'm looking for. Any and all suggestions welcome. Now if my current case had some cable management ports I could deal with the front panel being on top of case.

Yep, Airbot and I have similar taste. I have the same case. I added an extra-wide fan in the back. The cables are very organized.

You can keep the cables managed pretty good with the case, I have a couple pics of mine in my Albums on my profile page. Or from my sig - mah machine.

Although the front panel jacks aren't recessed in the front, more about just flush with the front. I think it meets most of those other requirements. The newer HAF 942 is a better design, but it cost more too. If I were to get a case now if I needed one, I would go with the 942, but I got mine before the 942 came out.

Might or might not be what you're looking for in a case, but it's an all around semi good case with nice airflow.

Cooler master HAF 932 ftw. My mod on it just makes it better

Or this one - Cooler Masters’ HAF X. Roomy, outstanding cable management, 3 big quiet fans, plus a 140mm rear, and two hot swappable bays. Also, you can turn off the front fan's LED by a switch on the top of the case. Bit expensive though - $199ish.

I only know it as the HAF X, which is what everyone else calls it

Yes the model# is RC-942-KKN1. It's just commonly known as, and marketed as the HAF X.

Most people won't recognize 942, but if you say HAF X, well. That's my point.

    It's all good :)

At any rate it is a good case to consider, even at it's asking price.

    Peace
