Why wouldn't my ram work ?? The mobo is rated to work with DDR2 533/667/800/1066... My ram is DDR2 667mhz
Even if the specs are the same, this doesn't guarantee compatibility with a given motherboard. There are 3 ways you can find out:

    1) Here is a link to Kingston's Memory Configurator:

Kingston Technology Company - Kingston Memory Search - Search by Manufacturer/Model

You will need to know the model# of your RAM.

    2) The other method is to check the motherboard mfr's site or call them to find out if your memory is compatible.

    3) You can call the RAM mfr. They should be able to tell you. But have a look at the Kingston configurator first.

That sucks.. My ram is not listed in the list of ram that works with the mobo provided by biostar... The list actually seems exceedingly small

I suppose there's still the chance that your existing RAM might work with it, but RAM incompatibilities can give large headaches (if they allow boot, that is...)

Do you have a link to the list?

I'm gonna email support and see what they say since im still waiting on cooler and case I should get an answer before I begin building but this does truly suck... I just assumed most if not all DDR2 rated within the boundaries of the specified mhz from the mobo would work

Will do... if I get it up and going I'll also post some pics but that may be a week from now dependent upon how long the cooler and case take to reach me... But if I need to also purchase new ram that may take a while since I have already spent all that my budget could handle this month

I ordered the case on late friday.. It shipped today and I received tracking details around 2 this afternoon.. It's estimated to arrive on the 22nd... But I never pay for the rush processing, so some times it's 3 days and other times it's longer... The cooler I decided on is a different story... buy.com had it at ten dollars below newegg so I bought from them... First time buying there so I don't know how fast their turn around is.... But I may not be able to do anything if the ram modules don't work... That was a huge over sight on my part... Now all I can do is cross my fingers and hope they work because I don't have $180 dollars to spend buying 3 of the cheapest 2GB modules that the biostar website list as compatible with the mobo -frowns-
