    Case questions

So, my current case has a cover on the front that needs to be moved to expose drives and the front intake fan. I tire of this, and want to replace it.

My questions are of brand quality. I have 2 hours to submit my newegg order to take advantage of savings on a few weekend items.

NXZT - I have dealt with an old case of theirs, about 5 years ago. Are they still good quality?

XCLIO - Never handled their product, are they good?

Rosewill - Again, I have never handled their product, except fans and PSU. PSU was sturdy enough, though.

Do you have a link to the actual products?

Have a look here....https://www.sevenforums.com/overclock...r-s-haf-x.html Can be had for around $200 bucks, or less.

I have reviewed cases for both Xcilo and NZXT; several this year for both companies. If you are thinking NZXT I would recommend the Phantom.

A nice chassis and not expensive by no means is the XION Predator.

If you are into luxury then I would suggest something from Lian Li, such as the PC-8FIR the Spider or the PC-B25S, this review will be published shortly so no link right now.

I hope you enjoy looking over my reviews and they help you decide.

Looking over your last post; Rosewill is of far less quality than NZXT.

For an 80.00 case you really should consider the XION Predator that I provided the link to the review. Some really nice features put together in a Mid tower. I would recommend some additional fans if you are doing any OC or running any of the Hot and Sweaty 480s from Nvidia.

My internet is screwing up on me once again so I can't seem to pull up all the links you posted, but looking at some of the stuff, I see you want to keep your budget under $100.

A couple of things to consider is....

    - Price
    - Cable management
    - Size - Will it fit/work with the space you have setup for it?
    - Styling - you have to look at the case.
    - Fans - lack of fans can add to price if you need to add them/add more.
    - Build/Finish - Is it cheap build/material?
    - Cooling - a cramped case can get hot quick.
    - Do you need a full/med/mini tower... which goes to....
    - How many drives will it hold?
    - And most importantly.... How long do you plan on keeping the case. This affects "price"

Just a few things to think about :)

If you like the looks and features of the HAF-X you might want to take a look at the AZZA Hurrican 2000, I have reviewed the HAF-X and doing the Hurrican right now and the new Antec DF-85 is sitting here in line as I type this.

I'd like a full tower, but I want to replace the fans and add more, so a mid tower is more my budget. I keep a cool 15C core temp, 30C HDD and board temp right now, with my GC maxing at 38C. I have chosen fans I like (proper air flow to dBA rating for my taste)

I'll be running 3 HDD's, maybe four later if I pick up a SSD
    2 DVD ROM drives
1 random 5.25" drive bay accessory

I'd love some integrated cable management, but it's not a necessity. I have been doing my own CM for years. I have a large CPU cooler, but its not tall. My new GPU is a MSI cyclone, and those are the only things other than drives and the power supply that I keep in the case :)

I plan on keeping the case for a few years, but probably not forever.
