    Silver Arrow: Great Temps!

Just ran 1/2 hour of Everest CPU stress to test out my new Silver Arrow. Temps are down ~15c compared to my Zalman 9700. Awesome!

Looks good, wish my Corsair H60 gave me that good of results, I'm generally at 55C or 60C.

The sliver arrow is a great cooler.

When overclocking - it certainly helps. It also allows for a much higher OC

Yeah, as I want to hit 5.0Ghz, I'd love it to be that cold.

Great upgrade. Supposed to be pretty quiet too, did you notice an increase/decrease in noise? A Guy

By the way, what's the ambient temperature in your computer room?

Looks good. Didn't like my Zalman much either as far as cooling capacity,

You didn't say what your overclocking is. Or is that base no overclock? Looks like overclock at 1.31V. Is your RAM REALLY at 1.9V?

I am not sure the colder the better to some level. You have wider temperature swings. Like hard drives - a google study found a higher failure rate at colder temps (in the 35C range) than in the 45 degree range for instance.

    Cheers
