    Zen: It was about 28-29c that day

    GeneO: All I've done as far OC the CPU is raise the FSB slightly. It's @ 3.225GHZ (stock 3.0). My RAM is what I focused on. Yeah, it's 1.9v running at 573MHz (6,6,6,18). It's funny coz CPUZ only shows 266MHz and 400MHz

    The reason I asked is I thought you had an I7 which can be damaged at above 1.65V on the memory. Don't know about the AMD.

    The i7 can go as high as 1.85v DRAM volts without damage to the CPU as long as it's within the QPI related variance.


    *(NB, generally for extreme benchers though - not everyday usage )

    UPDATE: I removed the Antec Big Boy 200mm from the side panel and added 4x Silverstone 120mm Air Penetrator Fan AP121 I'm stoked with the temps

    Your making excellent headway. Great cooling on air with a little more tweeking I think you'll see 3.4-3.6 with ease!

    Ran Prime95 for 30 minutes. Average temp ~37c. Ambient 17c. Awesome cooler!
