Scythe Gentle Typoon's 1850RPM.
Quality fans with good static pressure, decent airflow and quiet operation. I'd recommend two of these in a push/pull configuration on the H70 radiator.
I was almost tempted to order one or two of the CM's but in the end it was the vast response all positive on the Noc's. But there are many good fans out there to choose from.
It's way late in this thread to ask this but it seems like every time someone asks for suggestions on what part to buy they never fly a flag under their avatar or tell us where they are located or even give us an Idea of what their choices are for sites to purchase from.
I wish their was a sticky for . If asking fro suggestions for upgrades please include your Country of origin, sites you can purchase from, and make sure your system specs are filled in. since not everything is available to everyone everywhere.
I make this point because most of use will Newegg you to death when in fact your not able to purchase from them.
So if anyone reads this and your not displaying a country flag please tell us where your from or what sites you can purchase from.
Thanks. Fabe
It's probably a bit late in the day now but here is an excellent comparison review of 120mm fans: Review - What's the best 120mm case fan? | bit-tech.net
I would endorse what has been said about Noctua fans, they are very good indeed. However I've just installed some Sharkoon Silent Eagle fans and they are virtually inaudible to me.
Both those and the Scythe fans you mention are looked at in the review above.
