    Undervolting a XFX 4870


    Evening all. Here is my current predicament, I have a xfx 4870 with the crappy fan (not the turbine fan that directs the hot air outside of the case.)
    The only game I play is World Of Warcraft and this video card is overkill for it. The problem is the heat that this makes is simply ridiculous.
    Which method would be best for undervolting this space heater?

    I replaced the thermo paste on my 4890. Here's the post - Lowered GPU temps by 6 degrees!

    You might also check to make sure the card and fan is dust free.

    Fan is dust free, thermal paste was changed when I got the card.
