Wrams,
If the look is out of this world cool then this is the bar with which to set as the goal. Good luck on not breaking the bank.
murderbox
Thanks for the link. How much would something like that set someone back in GBP or are you in the US...? Also how much would that MurderBox cost...?
I'm looking at motherboards on eBay and other online stores and can't make my mind up on what would be a good motherboard to get and proccessor.
Yea I seen them in that link and there was some good multi coloured ball thingys :) what part of the truck do they hang them from...?
This question is aimed at everyone whos reading this thread.
I'm currently looking at motherboards and proccessors/heatsyncs but not sure what to go with, anyway basically was wondering on what views others had as to which MB and Proccessors I should be looking at...?
Thanks guys for your help

The Murderboxes start at outrageous and go up from there, but it offers some great inspiration for us all to reach for. I have my own method to my madness and I'm a bang for buck guy. I can't play in the latest ten tenths arena, it's just too costly and within a month or two you're still outdated. I like picking up bargains on yesterdays seven to ten tenths and enjoy the savings while still getting a kill system. For this reason I look at AMD and MSI both of which have never let me down. The problem with this is it will cause all the Intel fans to chime in and that's totally cool. I like to support the underdog and without them we likely wouldn't have the pricing on the new Sandybridge.....IMHO. So I say go AMD and Discount Intel. Really in the end it's just personal preference and to be able to pop 4.0mhz stable for $150 usd without any effort is flat out amazing. Spend the savings on a wicked case and PSU and maybe a Sata III SSD and "it's on" as they say !
Thanks for the info buddy, I know all to well about the "Out of Date" hardware/PC's. Just as soon as you think ' I have an awesome PC' 2 or 3 months later your using an old machine
I have AMD now but in a stadard HP PC however I upgraded the graphics, power supply and RAM and so far thats not been to bad, being said though I want something that when friends see it they get jealous, you know the types of PC's that do that
I have been looking at some gaming PC cases and haven't made up my mind because as soon as I find one I like another PC case comes along and turns me against the one I liked to start with.
Do you have any preference to which cases and PSU/motherboards of yester month that will make friends jealous :)
To me the case and the PSU if purchased correctly won't change for many mobo's, CPU's and or GPU's later. Cases are a matter of style and function. When I was shopping I wanted the newly released Corsair 800d, heck I still do but this case isn't perfect and it's huge. I settled for a Thermaltake Element V black edition and I like it. Since then I see lots of great cases coming and at price points that would make my Element a difficult choice today. The new Corsair Obsidian 650d mid-tower is my current case of choice but I like simple effective classic design. If you like wild cases then the Antec Darkfleet DF-85 is totally cool. Then there's the open case Antec Lanboy which only the name turns me off....lol !
The last case sounds a bit gay if you ask me, sounds more like lady boy and I don't fancy people asking what PC I have and I tell them lanboy they might misinterpret me and think I said lady boy
Thanks for the cases names I'll go take a look at them and see if there any I like
Oh don't for a second think that the Lanboy case isn't totally cool check the video.
And the best part is it doesn't say Lanboy anywhere on the case ! lol
I looked at the LanBoy and I agree its an awesome case and completely comes apart which is even better. I am seriously thinking of getting a "LanBoy"
