I've never seen such a situation.

It obviously shouldn't be hitting anything unless something has become dislodged. Look for marks indicating the fan has been striking something.

Don't guess. Confirm.
Alright, I force stopped all fans 1 after 1 and right enough it wasn't the PSU. It was the GPU (6950) The fan must be scraping off something inside the case of it It comes with a lifetime warranty with XFX, so get it replaced?

I'd say it's unlikely it is making contact with something. More likely the fan is just noisy or possibly failing.

I don't use graphics cards with fans, so I can't really advise you. There may or may not be something you can do without sending it back.

Do you have graphics built in to your motherboard or processor? If so, you could use that temporarily.

Yes, I have integrated graphics, and yes I beileve this isn't normal. It isn't noisy, it's making contact off something.

Well, it shouldn't be difficult to dismantle it enough to see signs of damage to either the fan blades or the housing to confirm that contact is being made. If there is no damage from a spinning motion, there's something else going on.

Dismantle what you can and get a good flashlight and make a judgment.

If I wanted to get a PC running, I'd go with integrated graphics right now and worry about the card later.

XFX have pretty much the best support. I wouldn't want to dismantle just to make sure I don't void the warranty. I've already contacted them anyway

I think that all of my problems are solved. I'm installing Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my WD Caviar Black, so everything is going well. I'm getting support from XFX so they'l help me out. I just want to say thanks to all of you guys, you are life savers

I am glad you got everything working. Just wanted you to know that I didn't quit on you, My router went out so I had no internet. It took until just a few minutes ago to get it fixed. Good luck with your first build.

I'm having an internet problem too I'm afraid. The router driver won't install, and it won't say there is an availible network. The Ethernet cable is connected and everything, any additional things I'll have to do?

Click on the start button, type device manager, open device manager, look ffor network adaptors see if there is a yellow triangle there. Right Click on it and select properties. Under the general tab the dialog box should say 'this device is working properly'. Also, if you have not done so, your motherboard should have come with an installation CD/DVD. Run setup, it should have enough drivers on it to get you started. Then go to your MB's website and download updated drivers.

Aha! I didn't install the Realtek LAN Drivers Last question: Is there any thing I should note after I connect my Seagate drive? (This is the drive that has all my pictures, videos ect. I'm going to dedicate it as a "Backup" drive) Other than that, it's pretty much everything. Again, everyone who helped me, thank you!
