Be sure to take a lot of pictures during the build. I want to see. It looks like a great system. The only thing missing is an SSD. You are going to love it. Have fun. Let us know if you run into problems.
Thank you for your great help :)
    I will post pics...
SSD will be in da future... too expensive now :S

Couldn't have done it without you guys :)
About the Megaflow fans, the 2 existing 200mm fans on the top and side are non-LED and have worse performance than the megaflow. I plan on replacing all of them plus addin gthe optional top 200mm exhaust. The front fan will stay the same :)
Then I will ghetto mount the remaining fans on to various parts of the case

    Hi again!
So it all arrived, I had forgotten to post back here :S
    Apologies
So I do have pictures... but... uhm... they're related to a little problem I have...
I cannot remove the GPU air duct!?!?!
    Why?
how can I take it out without removing the card?
I will post full system pics in a while
    ImageShack Album - 4 images
I think the duct is hitting part of the GTX 580 DirectCUII cooler?
(I had the PC built by the shop. I needed it urgently for work and shipping was free if you had it built )

Congratulations on a great build. I know you are enjoying it. I've never had a HAF X case so am not familar with the air duct problem you are having. That being said, I suspect it was installed wrong for you to be having that issue. You can look at a lot of installations on the show us your rig thread. I don't know if this is what you are talking about, but this is supposedly how it should look.

    Thank you
Yep, it is installed like that... it just won't come off for some reason. And I don't want to force and break the 580
I am truly enjoying this. It is stable, never hangs, much much different from the OEM experience I have been having for the past years.

Great, I'm glad you like it. The reason you like it so much is because it is not an OEM machine. You went tgrough the effort to research and select each part, and each part is a quality part. OEMs as a whole, build a machine with whatever parts the can get the cheapest. And, as you've been told, you get what you pay for. Quality parts are not usually very cheap. The effort you spent was worth every minute.

And if you need to take the shroud off for some reason, I would call the people who installed it and ask them.
