With the MB installed, it looks like I have just about 125mm of space. Not enough for this heatsink, sadly.
I have the Antec 300 and am running the Hyper 212+ on my Asus MB (see my specs). It has clearance. A Guy

Windows 7 Pro x64

Sorry for the delay. I was down the shore and didn't have any internet connection.

Going from what a guy said, I'll try the Hyper 212+, and if it doesn't fit, I'll simply return it and get the N520.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys!

Debian Squeeze Stable 64-bit

Also look at the Thermaltake Contac 29. Its basically Thermaltake ripping off Coolermaster - same design, same performance.

Going on what you guys said, and from reading the reviews, I'll look into getting the CM Hyper 212+. I have an i5 760 running 2.8 GHz. I don't plan on overclocking to more than 3.0 GHz if I even overclock at all, so I don't need a monstrous cooler (plus I'm cheap), just one that's better than the piece of junk that came with the processor. I'll get the Arctic Silver paste as well, as I'm sure that will make a difference.

I did an okay wiring job at best, so once I take it apart, switch everything out, and put it back in, I'll make sure to make the wiring as efficient as I can to let the case fans do their job as well, because the MB itself gets pretty warm. I'll do some measuring beforehand to make sure this will fit in my case, as it is quite big.

Thanks for your help, guys!
I am running my i5-760 @ 3.8 GHz 24x7. With the hyper 212+ I get temps of 64c on Prime95 full load. Earlier I said I had an i7-860 - must have had a brain fart (though the i7-860 is the I5-760 with hyper-threading enabled). I can't go past 3.8 Ghz without instability but it was pretty easy to get to 3.8 GHz, so I wouldn't set my sights too low. Good luck!

CPU Heatsink Question
I was asked by a friend to help seat a new Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro onto his AMD Phenom 9750 (same as me) CPU. While seating the heatsink, however, I found that I had to push incredibly hard just to get the thing to seat with the included brackets. I was afraid that I could potentially crack...

Which Heatsink is better?
I am going to buy a new Heatsink for my AMD 965 Black Edition and i was going to get the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 then i found this 1: Akasa Thermal Solution And was wundering what 1 would cool better and would make less noise as the stock 1 now sounds so loud.

CPU heatsink lapping...???
I've just finished reading a few different tutorials on how to lap a cpu/heatsink. Has anyone here done that and are the temp differences really that big? One guide only showed a 2 degree drop.
