here is a link to help give you an idea of the controller [How to:] Install A Fan Controller - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net
Sorry, you did mention that you were not familiar with the BIOS and needed instructions.
After restarting your computer, hit F2 or whatever the screen prompts you to hit to get into the BIOS.
Using your up, down, left, right arrows on your keyboard, move over to "Power",
move down to Chassis Q-Fan Control [Disabled].
Use Enter, Tab or Shift-tab to select.
Enable Q-Fan.
There are are three fan profiles when the Q-Fan option is enabled for the CPU and Chassis 1 and 2 fans.
Select Silent.
Hit F10 (Save and Exit)
It should be noted that your Q-fan options should be enabled, otherwise your fans will spin at their maximum, as the speed is ignored by the BIOS.
Thanks for the guide.
So as soon as I enable Q-fan, will it do the stuff automatic? Or should I set something? If so, how much?
Best Regards,
FredeGail
go for it my friend you may have to get some extra cable but they come with some to get you started i had to get a molex spliter and a couple of extensions for the fans but i use 4 and you have only 2 :)
