The foam tape is crazy strong. And yes I was thinking this would be used to mount the Lian Li wheels (trucks) instead of bolts or screws, jut make sure the foam covers the whole plate on the trucks and then pull the protective tape and you only get one shot with this tape so make sure you have them lined up where you want them. Then just let the weight of the system rest on the trucks and your done.

Obviously, I misunderstood what your were suggesting. It never occurred to me to use the tape to actually mount the rollers. Despite the fact that two of you seem to believe that this would be secure, I can't share that feeling, I will just bolt them on. However, your mention doesn't go to waste, because I have some other ideas on how to use some of that tape.

I just received the order that I made for the Lian Li rollers, but what I got doesn't even slightly resemble them, and I do not believe that it was even made by Lian Li. It is a somewhat heavy metal stand with 4 plastic casters bolted to it. I just fired off an email "requesting" an RMA. A new experience for me...I have received defective items before, but never the totally wrong product.

It happens, but is usually something easily remedied. I think it's happened to me twice in my life though

I guess that it doesn't accomplish anything, but I just got off the telephone with PayPal, and I need to get it off my chest. Xoxide.com sent me the wrong item for the order that I placed for the Lian Li rollers (they sent me a Lian Li PC Carriage instead, which I cannot use). I sent several messages to Xoxide requesting a prepaid shipping label to return it to them, and they ignored all of them.

I then filed a claim with PayPal, thinking that they would resolve the problem, which they did, but only partially...they wanted me to pay for the return shipping myself. Had I made this purchase through eBay, rather than directly with Xoxide, I'm sure that eBay would have exerted enough leverage to get the seller to do the right thing, but I was advised that is not PayPal's policy at this time. They said that they would "ask" the seller to provide a shipping label, but considering the fact that they ignored my requests for them to do so, I'm not very hopeful. Since the purchase is only for $42.16, it is not worth the cost and hassle of shipping it back to them under these circumstances. This definitely effects the likelyhood of me making any future direct purchases like this with only PalPal's "buyer's protection".

Also, I definitely will never make another purchase from Xoxide, and I would recommend that no one else does either.

    Seekermeister,
Please call Xoxide back at 561-282-6001 and ask for Cory. Just spoke to them and they understand there Lian Li partner shipped them the wrong parts and what they thought they were shipping wasn't the correct part. Please give him a call and see if two level heads can't get this purchase back on track !

No, I appreciate your input, but I'm not going to pay for a long distance call either. It is easy for them to rectify, all they have to do is to send me a prepaid shipping label...and since I'm disabled, and would find it a hardship to deliver it to a shipper, they need to schedule a pickup also. If they understood the problem, then they should have responded to my emails, instead of having me going in circles.

I find the email route is never as direct as a phone call.....but that's me. Let's hope they step up and respond to the email info!

If they won't respond to PayPal, they are not going to respond to me, whether by email or phone. It is sad for me to be so tight, but I will not send good money after bad, even if the situation warrants it it someone else's opinion.

I'd also recommend a phone call. Email is easy to ignore, but once you answer the phone, the problem is yours.
