Personally I would give it a week to see if the temps drop a bit.
On my build (Frio cooler) my temps dropped by 6c after around a week of use and usually idle between 28 to 30c

I bought an Arctic Silver kit and it works great it has a solution for getting the bulk off like Goo Gone and then a total clean solution like Acetone. Others here may have idea's on solutions that work as well or better.

You have roughly the same ambient temperatures as me, and my i5-2500k runs at about the same temperatures on idle.
Looks perfectly normal to me, nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't let those temps worry you in the least. Just watch for them to rise and that will likely indicate a case/fan/fin cleaning with compressed air and close the case back up !
Ok so an update - idle temps are at 37 for CPUID and 36/37 for Core Temp 1.0
But my concern comes when i give it a stress test with prime. only after a few seconds its running at 56-57 on core temp and 57-58 on cpuid. I still think that seems a tad hot when this is only running at stock settings, but i dont know much bout it.
