Q6600 to 3.ghz with 800 kingston ram

Hi if i clock my 2.4 q6600 to 3 ghz will i have to change anything on my ram.
My mobo does not support ram voltage option !

Should be fine... Gigabyte mobo's are good overclockers, and you have good RAM!

Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 and Mac OS X 10.8.3

If you drop the multipyer to 7 and change the bus to 450 and it chould work. Try multipyer 6 then 7. Worked for my old MB with no extra voltage.

I am thinking of overclocking my current cpu therefore I have got my self a new heatsink and fan. However I am kinda of an armature so I am worried replacing the heatsink. The only problem is that I don't have any cleaner to fully clean the old thermal paste so I wanted to ask is it recommended...
