I know :) i had been reading this thread for a bit. you were waiting for the case, but had the PSU due to Royal Pain Delivery. The components look very nice in that case. It makes everything look brand new :)

    badger906,
Fantastic job on the new case. It's as clean looking on the inside as it looks on the outside. Killer work with the wiring and routing it really pays to take your time with this overlooked step.

im surprised at quickly i did it lol. normally takes me hours. but not had a modular psu till now.

Im happy with my new build now, its only a month old, minus the case and psu, just need to get a corsair H70, and i can then overclock it properly.

    Hello, Forum

Few weeks ago I started my new build and now i'm finally done this thing is a beast compared to my E6500 with 4GB DDR2 here's the specs:

    Processor: Core i5-2310 @ 2.90GHz
    Motherboard: MSI PH67A-C43 (B3) v1.0
    RAM: Kingston KVR 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 @ 1333MHz
GFX Card: Sparkle Nvidia GeForce GT440 512MB GDDR5
Case: Thermaltake V4 Black Edition with 6 x 120mm Cooler Master Sickleflow 2000RPM Fans
PSU: Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 500W
HDDs: Samsung HD502HJ 500GB SATA II, Excelstor Technology J8080S 80GB SATA II
ODD: LG GH22NS40 DVD Burner SATA II

So far, sick. That's all i can say my WEI is now respectable I did my best with the cable management but the V4 has little to no room for that! but still i think i did a pretty good job

Weird thing, though.. i find the Processor a little bit on the warm side (44ēC on idle), maybe is the fact that i have the Intel HSF, a 29ēC room temp and a really crappy thermal compound... But still i don't know too much about Sandy Bridge processors and its temps, throw me a bone here, Forum! i'd appreciate it.

I'll probably end up buying a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ or a Corsair A70 but i don't know if it'll have problems with the fans placed on the top of the case! another bone thrown at me would be excellent
What up, Forum? today i got a new toy for my rig and best of all? I got it 50% off! let's see if it can get the CPU temps a little bit down.. a couple of degrees and i'll be happy
