Well... Yesterday I cleaned my PC and today I finally formatted the HDD because I somehow managed to F' up my installation... Now it's blazing fast and with a fresh and cleanly installed Windows 7..

Here are some pics, I have to say, this took me a while but I'm pretty much proud.. This is my best wiring until today... (Notice that my case doesn't have rubber grommets so I can't hide them THAT well)

Finally my whole rig.. Logitech X-230 speakers (love them), my 7 years old HP DeskJet 3920 Printer and my XBOX 360 Wired Controller and to the far right is my Peavey Max 110 Bass Guitar Amplifier
That's fantastic cable management, 1st rate

Maxwell, it's funny you mentioned the Lian Li line of cases as they along with Silverstone make some crazy nice premium boxes. It will boil down to the 3 but I need at least 240mm clear on the top for my H100 rad. I'm also considering a large mid tower but really my current case a Thermaltake Element V black edition is wicked and only lacks the wire management so I figure time is on my side so I watch for all the deals and when I can get a discount and free ship and no tax then I'll pull the trigger.

Well, I don't want to step on anyone dreams now, But I searched for months to find that perfect chassis for my specific needs. And I came up with this. If you want a great airflow chassis with the extra option for water cooling(it can fit up to 3 {2 x360 and 1 240} radiators normally, and with easy modding 5!) you should have a look at the Silverstone TJ7. It's an oldish chassis, but one of many peoples favorites. SilverStone Technology Co., Ltd.- TJ07

This one is also a great mid tower chassis. Its bigger then most mid towers and maybe as big as some full ones, but it has allot of space and comes in black/silver. Then for a different view go for the raven2, it has a 180motherboard holding, and I know from personal experience, having this is AWESOME for so many reasons! This however is a normal chassis when it comes to watercooling, but great for air. The lian lee, chassis are super nice, but most are discontinued, and yeah I know getting parts for them is still easy, but I had a thermaltake kandalf, that was discontinued two years after I bought it, and finding parts were impossable and very expensive. Secondly these lians are great for large systems, they have allot of space, and good modding potential! But a the scarsity(In Z.A) put me off of them, this is my own opinion.

If I were you, i'd stay away from thermaltake, I have nothing against there chassis, they are cool, and some look awesome, but there service, parts, helpline are terrible, expensive and lacking. IMHO.!!

I love those 800d's, they look awesome, and I very nearly bought one, but it didn't have the specific qualities I needed, if by now your p@#$ED and think I have no idea what I am talking about, sorry then, this was only an opinion. And I love my Silverstone TJ11, but this chassis is a FULL tower, and made for watercooling, not air.

So if I can give any guide,i'd say look at the 800D,Silverstone Tj7 and the raven2. If you don't like the looks of them, have a look at Lian lee, and THEN when all options are done, look at thermaltake. And yes, the TJ7 is a favorout of mine, but do yourself a favour, type tj7 mods into google, and see what people think and can do with it. The ONLY reason why I took the TJ11 over the TJ7 is because it was bigger(more room) and better for watercoolong WITHOUT doing mods to it.

    AGAIN this is all IMHO

    Punkster,
Really nice system you've built and like others have stated your attention to detail on the cabling is exemplary. I like the extremely small details such as the wires to the system headers as well as the sata cable wrap, all nice finishing touches that show great effort and just add to the clean, "how the heck did he do that" look !

Wow, been awhile since I've been here. Guess I beat the addiction.

Anyway, real nice job Punkster. I like the multiple access holes that case has. Sure makes wire management easier. That is the one negative I have with the Lian Li case I bought which has only two holes. I'm thinking I'll be doing some cutouts on the mobo tray when I rebuild. Otherwise I love this Lian Li case.

BTW Punkster, did you ever post at a site called 3D Sound Surge years ago? It was a site for computer audio.
