yeah your right. somethin is not right . in the bios its reading as 26c but core temp and aida are saying its idling @ 1.4Gh and around 11c. when it clocks up to 2.4 the temp goes straight to about 20c and i think the max temp the core temp registered was abou 40 ish ingame. i cant really remember.
aida x64 is also saying its an engineering sample. i uninstalled and redownloaded a newer core temp but its saying the same. im totally lost
edit: ive just been forum moochin n found a few different forums saying that the fx-6100 are getting low temp readings with core temp, aida, hw monitor and the only one that gives a true reading is amd overdrive. so im gonna go get that n see if its any different there. aparently the readings are off by about 10c. underneath say 10c
edit 2:ive just spotted in aida 64 it says cpu 27c then underneath its says all the cores are around 10c 27c then all the cores
those msi cards look nice in x-fire linnemeyerhere
edit3: as it says in tall the forums i read. amd overdrive is reading 22 ish on all cores @idle. it was also mentioned about them showing up as engineering samples.

ganjiry, that's part of the 'fun' running new chipsets. Most of the utilities can't read it right. It takes them a while to catch up. But, it all gets worked out in the long run. Good job.
Good job, Alan. It looks nice, I'm sure you're proud. Well done. Only one thing. What the heck is that Antec fan doing there? I thought you were a Noctua guy like me. You'll be prouder when the new ram arrives.
I thought I would install the spot fan to help add a flow of air to the top card, I have it set on it's medium setting and it's very quiet. I would like to figure a way to place a Noctua there but I haven't sorted that one out yet. With luck the ram will be here later today and will install with out me removing my radiator? I'll be asking for assistance with how to set them up as I've never set timings yet in bios.
